Empowering Urban Voices: Kanavu School of English at Ammapalayam

We’re incredibly proud to highlight the impactful work being done at our 11th branch, the Kanavu School of English at Government Higher Secondary School, Ammapalayam. Located in the Chennimalai block of Erode district, Tamil Nadu, this branch holds special significance as it’s situated in an urban area. This strategic location, which officially started on August 1, 2024, allows us to connect with more students and leverage the improved access to resources that an urban setting provides. The classes run from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.

Dedicated Team, Diverse Grades

At Ammapalayam, we’re reaching a wide range of students, with classes offered from Grade 6 to Grade 10. A key to our success here is the dedicated team of 10 teachers at the school, who handle various subjects. Their supportive approach and encouragement play a vital role in motivating students to participate in our English training program.

A Foundation of Strong Support

The seamless operation and reach of our program wouldn’t be possible without the incredible support we receive. We extend our sincere gratitude to Headmaster Mr. Kumar and the school’s English teacher, Mrs. Sumathi. Their consistent encouragement and collaboration are invaluable in helping us empower young learners.

Nurturing Communication Skills Daily

Our dedicated Kanavu teacher, Ms. Sandhiya, leads the English training for approximately 60 students from Grades 6 to 9. These engaging classes are held daily from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, providing students with valuable time during their school day to focus on developing crucial communication skills.

Growing Confidence in Our Second Year

Now in its second year, our program at Ammapalayam continues to make a tangible difference. We’re witnessing firsthand how both rural and urban children are finding their voices and building confidence in English. With the unwavering support of the school’s robust teaching team and the passion of our dedicated trainer, Kanavu’s mission continues to move forward, one confident child at a time.
