Kanavu School of English is proud to begin its new journey at SSV Boys Higher Secondary School, Kodumudi. This historic institution, which has been serving the community for the past 115 years, continues to stand tall as a center of education and values. The school, led by its dedicated Headmaster Mr. T. Dhandapani, is home to 728 students and supported by 23 committed teachers who guide the boys with knowledge and discipline. From 14th April 2025, Kanavu has started spoken English training classes for the students here. Under the guidance of Mrs. Rohini, our Kanavu teacher, 49 enthusiastic students have stepped into this exciting journey of learning English with confidence. We are deeply grateful to our dedicated sponsor, Mr. Sivakumar, whose support has made this program possible. His commitment to empowering young learners through education is truly commendable. We believe this program will help the students break communication barriers, open new opportunities, and build their self-confidence. About the School The school has been running successfully with the support of dedicated teachers and the local community. Spoken English Training Among the 369 students, 120 children are now receiving Spoken English training through Kanavu School of English. These classes officially began on 14th August 2025 with the goal of breaking the communication barrier and helping children speak confidently in English. Every day, students practice simple sentences, vocabulary, and interactive activities that make English learning enjoyable. The Impact The training has already begun to create a change. Students are more confident, eager to participate, and slowly overcoming their hesitation to speak in English. This small step is opening bigger opportunities for them in the future. About the School This respected institution has been serving the community for an impressive 63 years and is currently led by Headmistress Ms. Padhmini. With 41 dedicated teachers and a total of 984 students, the school continues to be a hub of learning and growth. About the School Located in the heart of the community, Government Higher Secondary School, Mugasi Anumanpalli, has been shaping young minds for the past 51 years.Under the leadership of Headmistress M. Madhiniyal, the school currently has: As part of this new initiative, 70 students have enrolled in our spoken English training program. Program Launch Details Our spoken English classes officially began on 21st July 2025, led by Kanavu trainer Sneka sri. Her energy and dedication are already making a positive impact in the classroom. P.K.R. Arts College for Women, affiliated with Bharathiar University, has been empowering rural women since 1994 under the Dhandapani Rural Charitable Trust. Surrounded by hillocks and green fields, the college continues the vision of Late Thiru. Kalimudhaliar, carried forward by his grandson Late Thiru P.R. Natarajan, and named after his father Late Thiru P.K. Ramasamy. Our First Transition from Schools to College This training marks a special milestone for us — our first time moving from training students in government schools to conducting spoken English training in a college. It’s a proud step forward for our mission to build confident communicators beyond school level. Teacher Training for the English Department A two-day Spoken English Training was held on April 30th and May 1st for 15 English Department teachers to strengthen their spoken English and teaching skills. The sessions were led by Senior Mentor Mrs. Shyla and coordinated by Abi Mam, focusing on practical communication and modern classroom strategies. Bridge Course for First-Year Students A three-day Bridge Course helped around 600 first-year students build a strong English foundation and confidently begin their college journey. Guided by Committed Educators With the strong leadership of Headmaster S. Venkatachalam and a team of 23 hardworking teachers, this school supports the growth of 377 students every day. We are honoured to add spoken English training to this legacy, helping students communicate confidently in today’s world. 156 Young Voices, One Goal Under the dedicated guidance of our trainer Ms. Sneka, 156 students are now receiving spoken English and communication skills training. Every day, they practise easy conversations, role-plays, and interactive activities that make learning English simple, practical, and fun. Learning Beyond the Classroom Classes are conducted daily from 3:15 PM to 4:15 PM, giving these students valuable time to practise and improve their spoken English. This extra hour helps them step outside rote learning and build real confidence in using English in everyday life. Established 73 years ago, this well-respected boys’ school has been shaping young minds for generations and now stands as a proud partner in our mission to build English communication skills among rural students. Guided by Strong Leadership The school, under the leadership of Headmaster T.K. Ponmozhi and supported by a dedicated team of 26 teachers, continues to create new opportunities for its 529 students. We’re honoured to contribute to this legacy by adding spoken English training as part of their learning journey. Empowering Young Learners Through English With the support of the school team, our dedicated teacher Mrs. Indhu trains 110 students from the 6th to 9th grades every day. These enthusiastic learners practice spoken English through simple conversations, role-plays, and real-life usage, building the confidence to express themselves freely. Everyday Learning, Everyday Progress Classes are conducted from 3:00 PM to 3:40 PM, giving students an extra edge beyond their regular lessons. We are proud to share about our Kanavu School of English at Government Higher Secondary School, Lakkapuram, which has been serving students since 1944 under the Department of Education. This school has a student strength of over 1,000, thanks to the dedicated work of the teachers and Headmistress Kalaiselvi Ma’am. Their commitment goes beyond regular academics — they help students discover their hidden talents and encourage them to grow in every way possible. This location is extra special for us because our dedicated Kanavu teacher, Mrs. Punitha, has a deep connection with the school. Her mother is an alumna of this very school, and now Mrs. Punitha is giving back by training the next generation of students in spoken English. We currently train 50 students from 6th, 7th, and 8th grades every Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM. This new training batch started on 17th June 2025 with the wonderful support of Headmistress Kalaiselvi Ma’am. We thank Mrs. Punitha for her dedication and her family’s beautiful circle of giving back. With this effort, we hope to build stronger spoken English skills and more confident young voices in Lakkapuram!

We are happy to share that we have started our 22nd location of The Kanavu School of English at Government Higher Secondary School, Thamaraipalayam, Kodumudi, Erode. This school has been serving students since 1997 and has nearly 300 students from 6th to 12th grade. Through Kanavu, we now provide spoken English training for 6th and 7th-grade students, reaching about 50 students every day. Our class runs daily from 1:15 PM to 2:00 PM. This new step is possible thanks to the great support of Headmistress Gnanambal Ma’am and the dedicated team of 22 staff members at the school. A special thanks to Mrs. Prabhadevi, our dedicated Kanavu teacher, who trains the students with care and commitment every day. Together, we aim to build confidence and improve spoken English skills for these young students, helping them dream bigger and speak brighter!
