The classes run from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Dedicated Team, Diverse Grades At Ammapalayam, we’re reaching a wide range of students, with classes offered from Grade 6 to Grade 10. A key to our success here is the dedicated team of 10 teachers at the school, who handle various subjects. Their supportive approach and encouragement play a vital role in motivating students to participate in our English training program. We’re now in our second year at the Government Higher Secondary School in Pasur, Erode (638002), and it’s been an incredible journey of growth and learning. A New Milestone for Kanavu This is our ninth location in the Kanavu School of English network. It kicked off on June 24, 2024, and has been flourishing ever since. Under the supportive leadership of HM Mam Devagi, we’ve been able to provide quality English language training to 30 enthusiastic students from 6th to 9th grade. Dedicated Teaching and Strong Support Every weekday, from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM, our dedicated teacher, Mrs. Chitra Duraisamy, guides these young minds, fostering their English skills with passion and expertise. We also extend a huge thank you to Mrs. Shanthi, the AHM, for her invaluable support. The encouragement we receive from both HM Mam Devagi and AHM Mrs. Shanthi has been instrumental in our success. Nurturing Future Leaders: Focus on Grades 6-9 Ammankovil’s Government Girls Higher Secondary School is a hub of learning, with nearly 850 students from various standards. Our focus at Kanavu School of English is to nurture the foundational language skills of students from 6th to 9th standard, a group that currently numbers around 250 enthusiastic learners. Dedicated Leadership and Passionate Teaching The success of our program wouldn’t be possible without the incredible support of the school’s dedicated staff. With 25 teachers guiding the students, there’s a strong emphasis on holistic education. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Headmistress, Mrs. Sumathi ma’am, for her unwavering support and collaboration. Leading our English training efforts at Ammankovil is our exceptional teacher, Abitha. Her passion for teaching shines through in every session, and she’s been instrumental in creating an engaging and interactive learning environment. With 5 teachers and 1 office staff, this school continues to be a place where young dreams find direction. A Headmistress Who Says Yes to Change Behind this new chapter is Headmistress Mrs. Sugashini, whose open mind and belief in new skills have brought Kanavu School of English here for a second year in a row. When she saw how much children enjoyed speaking up in English, she made sure the classes continued — so no child misses the chance to learn. 63 Students, One Goal This is our 8th Kanavu centre, and here, 63 students from 6th to 8th Standard gather daily to unlock the power of English. The class runs from 1:50 PM to 2:30 PM, a special time carved out just for practical speaking and vocabulary — no exam pressure, just real practice. Teacher Varshini Makes It Possible At the heart of this effort is Teacher Varshini, who patiently guides every student to speak a little more, try a new word, or answer without fear. Her gentle push has turned shy students into bold speakers. What Makes This Different This is not just another class — it’s a space where students laugh at their mistakes, correct each other, and slowly find the courage to talk in English outside the classroom too. A New Milestone for Kanavu We are excited to share that our 7th Kanavu School of English has opened at Government Higher Secondary School, Karavalasu, Vazhaithottam Post, Sivagiri, Erode – 638109. This school is taking meaningful steps to help students grow beyond textbooks and build real-world skills. Guided by Supportive Leadership With the encouragement of Headmaster Mr. Murugesan, the school has warmly welcomed Spoken English training for its students. His vision for helping children gain confidence in communication has made this program possible. The school has 5 subject teachers and 1 office staff, all supporting this new step for their students’ growth. Starting Strong We officially began our classes here on 24th June 2024. From 6th to 9th Standard, 56 out of 67 students are now actively learning to speak English with confidence. Perfect Midday Learning The Spoken English classes are conducted during school hours, from 12:50 PM to 1:30 PM. This special time slot ensures that students can focus on improving their speaking skills without missing out on their regular lessons. Leading the Way The training is handled by Vidhya, whose friendly teaching methods and practical approach help students speak English naturally and fearlessly. The focus is on real conversations, simple usage, and day-to-day confidence — not just theory. Small Steps, Big Dreams Every session is helping students shed their hesitation and find their voice in English. The goal is to help them think in English, expand their vocabulary, and communicate freely with classmates and teachers. Spoken English for Young Learners We proudly launched our 6th Kanavu School of English location here on 24th June 2024, with the generous support of our sponsor Mr. Jagan. At this location, 25 students are receiving dedicated spoken English training to help them build confidence, expand their vocabulary, and speak English fearlessly. The classes are handled by Ms. Sowmiya, who has been teaching and guiding the children for the past 2 years with patience and care. Her friendly approach helps students enjoy learning and speak without hesitation. This is a primary school guided by Headmistress Mrs. Valarmathi, who has shown great interest in giving her students better opportunities in English communication. Dedicated Teacher Our training at this school is conducted by Mrs. Chithrabanu Duraisamy, the Director of Kanavu School of English. Her practical and friendly way of teaching helps children understand and use English with confidence. Young Learners, Eager Minds Currently, 25 students from the primary classes are part of this Spoken English program. The children are eager to learn and enjoy the fun activities, speaking practice, and vocabulary training given by Mrs. Chithrabanu Duraisamy. Through this program, our goal is to help village children overcome hesitation, speak freely, and love learning English from an early age. Our New Location We are proud to announce our Our third proud step for Kanavu School of English at Nadupalayam Aided Primary School, Vellottamparappu (Post), Pasur (Post), Erode – 638154.This is a special moment for us — for the first time, a government school has approached us to bring Spoken English training to its students. Anbu’s Success Story It all started with Anbu, a student from Nadupalayam village who joined our main Kanavu School of English at Sivagiri. With regular practice, Anbu learned to speak English confidently with his friends. Seeing his improvement, Headmaster Mr. Sakthivel wanted the same chance for all his students and invited us to conduct Spoken English classes at his school. Spoken English for 30 Students With the Headmaster’s support and parents’ trust, we started our Kanavu School of English training 30 bright students. Classes are held after school hours, helping children build vocabulary, overcome hesitation, and speak confidently in English. These sessions are guided and monitored under the leadership of Mrs. Chitra Banu Duraisamy, the Director of Kanavu School of English, whose dedication and vision drive this mission forward. We are proud to offer this training completely free of cost, with a true service mindset, so that every child can benefit.
