It’s with immense pride and joy that we celebrate a significant milestone in our journey: the Kanavu School of English at Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Ammankovil, Erode – 638109, which began on July 27, 2024, is now in its second year! This marks our ninth location, and we’re thrilled to continue empowering young minds in this vibrant community.
Nurturing Future Leaders: Focus on Grades 6-9
Ammankovil’s Government Girls Higher Secondary School is a hub of learning, with nearly 850 students from various standards. Our focus at Kanavu School of English is to nurture the foundational language skills of students from 6th to 9th standard, a group that currently numbers around 250 enthusiastic learners.
Dedicated Leadership and Passionate Teaching
The success of our program wouldn’t be possible without the incredible support of the school’s dedicated staff. With 25 teachers guiding the students, there’s a strong emphasis on holistic education. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Headmistress, Mrs. Sumathi ma’am, for her unwavering support and collaboration.
Leading our English training efforts at Ammankovil is our exceptional teacher, Abitha. Her passion for teaching shines through in every session, and she’s been instrumental in creating an engaging and interactive learning environment. Her unique approach, including dedicated interaction sessions, truly empowers students to confidently express themselves and build their communication skills.
Building Skills, One Word at a Time: Class Schedule
Our classes run daily from 3:30 PM to 4:20 PM, a dedicated time when students can immerse themselves in learning English in a fun and supportive atmosphere. As we embark on our second year, we are more committed than ever to fostering a love for language and opening doors to new opportunities for these bright young girls.
